🔥 Trust Much?! Do You FULLY Trust God, or Just When It’s Easy? | Unhindered Talks Podcast Ep. 11 Let’s be honest: it’s easy to say “I trust God” while the worship song is playing and you’re at the altar. But what happens once you stand up and walk away? 🙌 In this comeback episode of the Unhindered Talks Podcast, after two years away, we talk about learning to fully trust God. With God, trust isn’t 10% or 50%. You’re either all in or you’re out. Drawing on Psalm 20:7 (“Some trust in chariots, some in horses, but we trust in the name of the Lord our God”), we look at what it means to stop leaning on money, power, people and our own abilities, and to rest in the name of the Lord: His character, which never changes and never fails. 💪 So where is your trust right now, in your chariots or in His name? 📖 Psalm 62:8 calls us to trust Him at all times and pour out our hearts to Him, because God is our refuge, our strong tower and our safe place. Like Elijah, who ran in fear after a great victory and found God waiting for him, you can come to God just as you are. 🕊️ We also share honestly from 14 years of marriage about what it’s like to wait on the Lord when He seems silent and prayers aren’t answered yet. Building trust in God is a daily process. It means seeking His voice, practicing gratitude, meditating on the Word, surrounding yourself with godly people, and refusing to give up. ⛰️ Some days it will be hard. But you are never alone. Are you ready to stop taking it back and trust Him fully? 🙏 ✨ Ways You Can Apply This Message in Your Life 🙏 Don’t take it back after worship. When you give something to God in prayer, decide in advance that you’ll leave it in His hands, even after the emotional moment is over. 📖 Get to know His character. Pick one verse, like Psalm 20:7 or Psalm 62:8, and meditate on it for 10 minutes a day: in your car, while you wash the dishes, or while you cook. Take notes. 🙌 Answer God’s silence with gratitude. When your prayers seem unanswered, don’t complain. Write down what God has already done for you and thank Him for it. 🤝 Find your “iron sharpens iron” person. Married or single, find one godly friend who can strengthen you on your hard days, and be that person for them on theirs. 💪 Exercise your trust muscle daily. Trust is a journey. When it’s hard, say out loud: “Lord, whatever I’m going through, I know You’ve got me.”
